I'd Do Anything - Final

So. I was miffed. Seriously. Jodie to win? Seriously?
From the beginning, I thought that it would be between Jessie and Rachel, but supported Francesca as well. Let's face it... she was pretty cool. The voice on her was so different and edgy that it would have added to Nancy's character. Shame she couldn't hit notes. So she went out and my number one favourite became Rachel. My god the talent! Consistent high levels of performance and such determination (did you see her with the rats?). But why do the public hate her?? Did they not see her perform "Cabaret"? Better than that stupid song that Jessie did that everyone was in love with. But I heard today that Rachel had an audition for the show "Cabaret", which would give her a much better part than Nancy, to be honest. So, back to the point. The public hates Rachel and she goes out. Then Jodie wins?? What? Did no one see Gwion and Jessie together? So natural. She looked like she was hanging out with her younger brother rather than performing on stage. The others looked choreographed but their performance looked real. I thought they had it in the bag from that. But Jodie? She had a horrible voice. And cried too much. And, not to be rude but, wouldn't you have crash dieted and lost the two stone as soon as you got past the first stage of auditions? The highlight of the night, for me though, had to be the appearance from the lovely Lee Mead. I'm going to see him (again) in a few weeks. Yay! And by the way, the public noticed Lee's little kiss to Denise and her little wave... it caused much jealousy in our house... towards both parties.
Also... Rip Her To Shreds... just how I'm feeling right now.

Chaotic Weekend

The title pretty much says it all. Well, today wasn't too bad, but yesterday was insane. My friend and I decided to go shopping in Oxford because we needed to get an outfit for when we go to the theatre later in the year to see Lee Mead as Joseph. I'm so excited! Only 67 days to go! I've been having a daily countdown every day since we booked the tickets! So anyway. We thought we should get outfits that are like our very own technicolour dreamcoats; I've got a blue long-sleeved T-shirt, a magenta vest, a yellow camisole, a green skirt, red tights, stripy multicoloured knee-high socks, glittery legwarmers and red converse. Also some bright necklaces, loads of makeup and I'm thinking of spraying my hair pink a là Tonks. Yeah, I'll look so cool. But yeah. It's part of the mood! So what if my Mum refuses to come near me for the whole day?! So we went and bought all this and then thought "Hey, lets go and see Knocked Up". So I texted my Mum and told her we were going to see a movie and would head back when it finished. When the movie was over and we went to look for a bus, we couldn't find one anywhere and my Mum was going ape-shit when we finally found a stop because we didn't get there in time for the bus and she thought we were going to have to wait an hour for the next on, and by that point it was getting dark. I thought that Mum was going to kill me because she hates me being out after dark, but I got off pretty lightly. A load of "Be More Careful" lecture and set to bed as soon as I got in. Not too bad and I needed to get to bed early anyway because I had swimming this morning and I have to get up at six for that. And it was so exhausting. More so than normal in fact, because our normal coach was away, so I ended up joining the county squad session. Let me explain; I'm in club squad and county squad is a level up and much harder work. So I was exhausted. Then I read in the garden for most of the day because we had, as they say in poker, a full house. My Mum's brother and his crazy wife were around as well as Mum's almost boyfriend. Full house. Then we walked the dog and here I am.
